International Feline Behaviourists (IFB) was founded back in 2019 by International Canine Behaviourists (ICB) founder, Brigitte Barton, with the aim of providing a consistent approach to feline welfare and care.
Here at IFB we believe in providing a culture of continuing education and development for feline behaviourists. We support our members in their chosen career as well as being a source of advice for cat owners seeking support in overcoming unwanted behaviours.
We are an organization that prides itself on its members who have an abundance of ‘hands-on’ experience, theory knowledge and academic qualifications; and who are all committed to using natural, force-free scientifically proven methods for behaviour modification. All of our members pledge never to use any approach that may harm either a cat’s physical or mental wellbeing, abiding by our motto ‘feline wellness at our core’.
